Additional facilities include grey waste, a covered waste disposal location to protect you from the elements and an on-site toilet for your convenience. Explore Wookey Hole Caves, the beautiful City of Wells, Glastonbury Tor and Clarks Retail Village, all just a short drive away. Fantastic Find.

What a fantastic find this site really was , very well presented, quiet and a great location for just everything and anywhere you'd like to visit in the area. Joe gave us a very warm welcome and gave us a great insight to what we had around us , Joe's knowledge of all the surrounding attractions was second to none from local golf courses, great restaurants in Chedder, easy and not as easy bike rides, there's so much to do around Clinton House CL we where lucky enough to hold on to our pitch for an extra two nights.Really can't recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning.

A hidden gem!
We are proud to have been the first customers at this newly opened CL and thoroughly recommend it. The family are very friendly and Joe gave us a very warm welcome. We had a fantastic 3 night stay at this beautiful site. The pitches are level, well drained (like a lawn on gravel) and very spacious. The site is sunny and sheltered from any winds by the immaculately kept hedges/trees. Every pitch benefits from a tap and electric hook up. The toilet is extremely clean with quirky touches and well lit. There is a covered area where toilets can be emptied and a separate grey waste disposal point at the other end of the site near the bins. The location in Cheddar is perfect. Less than 5 mins walk to the reservoir which has a perimeter gravel walking track. The 10 mile Strawberry trail (Cheddar to Yatton) cycle/walking track is at the end of the lane so take your bikes or rent them in Cheddar. The Thatchers brewery ‘Myrtle farm’ at Sandford is about 500 yards from the track where you can stop for refreshments at the pub! The Cheddar Ales brewery is at the Cheddar end of the track and worth a visit. It took us less than 20 minutes to walk from the site to Cheddar Gorge where we enjoyed the 6 mile circular cliff walk along each side of the gorge via National Trust well signposted tracks - walking shoes/boots advised. There is a Tesco Express and Sainsburys in Cheddar village as well as local shops, takeaways, restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back again soon! Thank you! 😊

Directions : From A38 take A371 for Wells, Axbridge, and Cheddar. Follow A37 into Cheddar. At the end of long straight where A371 bends to the left, take a right turn onto B3151 for Wedmore. Over bridge, take the first right onto Sharpham Road, follow the road towards Cheddar Reservoir, site on right at gated entrance to Clinton House. Clinton House is the last house on the right before the reservoir.
