White House Farm Caravan Park is a peaceful site in a beautiful setting, situated on a small beef and arable farm on the Staffordshire, North Shropshire and South Cheshire borders. The 1.5-acre site is in an elevated position which gives visitors stunning panoramic views over the neighbouring counties and as far as the Welsh mountains. The CL is situated to the west of the farm house, so is ideally placed to relax, unwind, enjoy the amazing views and take in the breath-taking sunsets. We have four hard standing spacious pitches and one grass pitch - All our pitches have electric hook up and room for an awning at no extra cost. There are separate taps for mains drinking water and rinsing and the usual disposal point is well screened. We encourage recycling on site too. Free Wi-Fi is also available on request and TV reception is excellent.
Given our position on the borders of 3 counties the site is an perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. We are close to several market towns the closest being Market Drayton (5miles) which still has a large street market every Wednesday. Visitors can also visit the historic towns of Eccleshall, Nantwich, Newcastle and further afield are The Potteries, Stafford, Shrewsbury and Chester.
Our information pack, which we make available on arrival, details many places of interest to visit and these include Hawkstone Park & Follies, Trentham Park, Gardens & Monkey Forest, Dorothy Clive Gardens, Fordhall Community Farm, Wedgewood Visitor Centre, Emma Bridgewater, Bridgemere Garden World. Dagfields Craft and Antique centre and Ironbridge Gorge to name but a few. Alton Towers, Cadbury World and The Black Country Museum are all less than one hours drive away. Whatever your interests, then there is something to suit all tastes.
The local village of Loggerheads is only 0.5mile away and has a Co-Op late shop, Post Office, barber and ladies hairdresser, library and vets. There is an Indian Restaurant and Chinese/Pizza take away. In surrounding villages there are a variety of country pubs serving food to suit all tastes. Local farm shops can provide your fresh local produce and the nearest to the CL serves lunches and afternoon teas.
For the more active visitors there are plenty of opportunities close at hand and these include several golf courses nearby that welcome visitors: coarse and trout fishing, swimming pools and tennis courts can all be found in Market Drayton. For those who prefer a leisurely stroll in beautiful countryside then there are many beautiful walks locally with OS maps and information available to borrow. We welcome well behaved dogs on leads and an off-site walk is available.
It is our aim for all our visitors to have an enjoyable and relaxing stay on our friendly, family run CL site.

Friendly and welcoming cl
Just spent a week here great cl fantastic views to West Wales Clare provides a welcome pack with all useful info, also available are levelling blocks as the hardstandings are sloping. Very friendly owners. Hope to go back again.
I can only agree with previous reviews. We were given a warm welcome and a gift of fresh farm eggs! The view is absolutely wonderful and the site is so peaceful, definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely superb, great location, great welcome and the welcome pack contains so much informationn For walkers this is a dream so many and a real mix of long and short, Staffordshire council well done on your leaflets and to the CL supplying them and keeping them up to date. So surprised that in 6 nights we stayed we had one outfit for 3 nights and one for 2 so 3 nights all to ourselves! Obviously not too many people know about it! Thanks for a great stay and well done to you for the hard work and attention to detail.
We booked at short notice by e-mail and had a very speedy response. Very easy tow even with our big outfit and clear directions. A notice at site gate gave us a pitch number. The site is sloping but with a ramp under one wheel and the blocks supplied we were soon level. Lovely welcome from owner's family and Charlie the dog. Sunset was wonderful! Will return. One word of advice for members arriving for the first time- you come upon the farm lane quickly and the entrance is partially hidden by trees, go carefully after the right turn.
A gem of a CL
We had a brief one-night stay on this CL in our motorhome, on our way north to the Lake District and were very impressed with it. The 180 degree view from the elevated site was simply breathtaking! We had a lovely welcome from the site owner, who gave us an information pack about the area and six eggs! Very kind. The pitch was sloping and even using our levelling blocks we were still on a bit of an incline, but it was clean and with water and recycling facilities easily available. The CL was full on our night there, but pitches were suitably spaced, so it didn't feel crowded and we were on the end pitch which gave even more space. We did not have time to do much on such a brief visit, but we walked into the village of Loggerheads and enjoyed a very good Chinese meal at The New Ambrosia restaurant. This CL is so good that we wished we were staying longer and will certainly try to return.
Wonderful CL, perfect tranquility
Sadly we only stayed for one night at the end of January 2017, we will be back very soon for a longer stay. The site is perfect, tranquil with incredible views that must stretch 50 miles west into Wales and North towards Liverpool. Ed and Claire are lovely and made us very welcome, Claire's gift of free range eggs made a delightful Sunday breakfast. Access to the site is really easy even with a large van, the facilities are fine and all very close to hand, the free wifi is great and the location is just close enough to the village for an easy walk to the shops or pub, but far enough out for no disturbances. This is a treasure of a location, we can't wait to go back.
Directions : From Market Drayton head east along the A53 towards Loggerheads. At the second traffic island (note: two traffic islands are very close together) in Loggerheads turn left towards Mucklestone and Woore onto the B5026. Turn right at the fifth turning on the right into Mucklestone Wood Lane. Take the second left. Site is at the top of the hill. CL is next to large white farmhouse.
