If you need accommodation for friends or relatives, the farmhouse offers 2 luxury en suite king and super-king bedrooms which overlook the pasture. Other facilities such as bicycles, barbecue, games etc. are available upon request and Mick and Lyndis, the owners, will do their best to help.
Although the site is not overlooked and therefore quiet and private, we ask that noise is kept to a minimum and the playing of any music or loud activities at 'quiet' times does not become intrusive to others' enjoyment. Hill Crest Farm has been our home for well over twenty years and we hope you will enjoy being here as much as we do.

Delightful CL site
We used this as a stop over on our way down to Lincolnshire. Just a mile or so from the A1. Mike and Lyndis are very welcoming and helpful. Lovely quiet site with very good facilities. We parked close to the outbuilding and used the electric hook up in there. Lovely site if you have dogs, plenty of room to let them have a run around. The local pub, The White Horse was very good too, we didn’t eat but I bet the food was good. It was so tempting to order an Indian take away from Yash that we just had to, it was delicious! We stayed here again on our way back up to Yorkshire and enjoyed a few more drinks at the White Horse and another Yash take away. Can highly recommend this site.
Very pleasant stopover for Sundown Adventureland
Arrived in a motor home and used the field entrance which involved leaving the vehicle in the country lane close to a bend whilst my wife undid the padlocked gates, so I would recommend using the main electric gates as a safer option. Excellent friendly welcome from Michael who couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay welcome. A nice flat site with plenty of room away from the road, so very quiet and the free wi fi was a bonus. Very modern toilet facility and some outbuildings which the owners are developing for a shower block and children’s play den. Easy walking distance to the village with 2 pubs and an Indian restaurant, we tried The White Horse which did good food. In summary it is a lovely site, run by lovely people with plans to improve the facilities over time and we would definitely recommend and return ourselves in the future.
Lovely stop off with a friendly welcome
We stayed for 2 nights when attending a nearby wedding. The site is just a couple of hundred yards walk to a village pub, Indian restaurant and the lovely Old Bell hotel/restaurant. it's only a few minutes off The A1 so would be a good stop off for people doing a long journey. The photo doesn't do the site justice as iit catches the evening sun on a nice day. Plenty of space to pitch and they own several acres, so it's great for exercising dogs. Mick and Lyndis were very welcoming and treated us like family friends. There's plenty to do in the area so we may well return, even without the excuse of a wedding.
