Caravan and Motorhome Club
Members Only
5 Outfits Only

Our CL is a peaceful and quiet site on the edge of a rural village close to the North West Norfolk coast. It is set in approximately 1 acre of lawned grass and has a woodland border. We open from March until November. The large area of the site means there is plenty of space for awnings etc.

We have a purpose built service area with recycling facilities.
The entrance to the site is wide enough for twin axle outfits and motorhomes with trailers. We welcome well behaved dogs, there are good areas for walking dogs close by.

The site is ideal for members who are twitchers with various RSPB attractions in the area. The winter flight of geese over the site in winter months is spectacular.

There are a number of country houses to visit close by such as Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton. Sandringham Park has a number of events during the year with game fairs, craft fairs, carriage trials and a Christmas fair.

The village of Dersingham (1 mile) has 2 supermarkets, newsagents, a chemist, and pubs. The seaside town of Hunstanton is approximately 9 miles away and has many attractions. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and the lanes are ideal for cycling.

We offer caravan storage both inside and out, we also provide the service of pitching and return of van to storage for a small fee for those that do store with us.

Perfect site for our short break

After breaking down on the M11, we had to cut our week long break to Kent short. We've never looked at the certified locations before but found this one and gave it a go on the spur of the moment. Calling ahead to enquire about vacancies was pleasant and informative and on arrival we deposited our cash & info in the agreed place. The site is on the side of a hill next to a small wood and far enough away from any major roads to maintain the peace & quiet. It's full of wildlife, pheasants and partridges are in abundance. There is of course water, elsan point and recycling facilities on site. We loved it and hope to visit again soon.

Everything you would want from a CL and holiday

Can't praise this CL enough. Beautiful, spacious and quiet setting but only a short drive to most things on the north Norfolk coast. Site is easy to find from the description, owners very warm and welcoming. Very well kept, often out moving when a pitch is vacated. It is abundant with wildlife: ducks, a family of Little Owls, rabbits, squirrels and a very lazy pheasant. An information board when you arrives tells you what you need to know and you can leave payment there, simple and effective. The pitches are sloped but its not a problem as the info does say they slope and the owner has kindly provided some extra blocks etc if people need them. An easy, hassle free place to holiday.

We recently stayed for a couple of nights at this lovely CL all I can say is it is just perfect! we loved it, there is plenty to do in the local area we enjoyed getting out on our bikes, walking in the countryside, and photographing the amazing local wildlife including the nesting Little Owls that are resident on site, thank you so much for your hospitality we will be back!

Wonderful site

Stayed for 3 nights in June. Lovely little site, very peaceful and well kept. Owner friendly and helpful but then left you to it, which I like. Excellent mobile reception for O2. Facilities all easy to access. Two large storage barns and caravan storage on site but are not intrusive. Surrounded by farmland and nature. Regular visitors were a male and female pheasant, 2 hares, and heard but not seen, an owl. Lots to do in the surrounding area. Directions easy to follow, slow right down as you approach the top of the hill and you won't miss it. The Brickley Wood sign is varnished wood and if you aim for the regular CL signage you'll miss the entrance.

Brinkley wood

We stayed here in September ,directions were good but then confusing as they have 2 sites Hall farm is the other serviced site . Friendly lady but didn't have a lot of local info. Can walk into Dersingham where there are a few shops. We wanted to go to sandringham as we didn't know how far or how to walk we went in our camper, well worth a visit. We had woods in front of us on the site but storage and industrial units behind. £16 a night, tv reception was good

Directions : Please do not use sat nav from Ingoldisthorpe. Turn right off the A149 (King's Lynn - Hunstanton) at roundabout onto B1440 (signposted Dersingham); in about 1.75 miles (0.5 mile past Dersingham) turn right into Brickley Lane (opposite Ingoldisthorpe Village sign). Site is on the right within 0.5 mile (narrow, passing places) past top of hill enterance just before house.
