This adult only site offers a choice of 1 grass or 5 hard standing and has the benefit of 16 amp electric hook-ups. It boasts uninterrupted views of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, yet is only a 10-15 minute stroll from Louth town centre. Louth is known as the capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an historic market town on the Greenwich Meridiian line, a small plaque in Eastgate marks the line. We are open all the year round for you to enjoy our campsite, the town and our surrounding area.
There are many Louth cycle routes for the cycling enthusiast along quiet country roads and lanes.
For the walkers, within 15 minutes walk there is Louth’s Hubbards Hills, a superb area of natural parkland, a perfect place for walking dogs and having a picnic. There are many more walks in the area, whether you want a gentile stroll or something more energetic.
If you are a motor racing enthusiast Cadwell Park is only 5 miles drive away. This is a very popular site for those attending Cadwell.
Every late October to December grey seals come to the Donna Nook National Nature Reserve (12 miles from Louth) to give birth to their pups near the sand dunes, a true wildlife spectacle. The Reserve is also known for its array of wildlife.
Lincoln Christmas market
Lincoln Christmas Market (Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th December 2019) is one of the largest Christmas Markets in Europe for some festive cheer.
Grimsby Fishing Heritage
We are 15 miles away from Grimsby where a visit to the Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre is a must. It is a multi award winning attraction which will transport you back in time to the 1950s heyday of this famous port.

Power supply inadequate
Nice location. Quiet, with easy access to Louth - nice market town with good amenities including pubs, independent food shops, restaurants and even a small cinema. Nice walks in surrounding countryside. Main drawback was the inadequate power supply. It’s a known thing here. The circuit breakers never tripped but the supply was insufficient to run the fridge continuously on electric (beeping and warning lights) nor power the Alde heating adequately. Expect to use gas if you come here.
Perfect for peace and quiet.
Just spent a second week at this site within a month. Cannot fault it. Fabulous views. Peace and quiet. Very friendly site owners. Within walking distance ofbLouth and Hubbard's Hills, beauty spot. Cannot recommend enough. Shame the weather wasn't quite warm enough for me to use the swimming pool, which you are welcome to use anytime said Vera. Maybe next time.
Lovely site and in a great location for accessing Lincoln, the lovely Lincolnshire beaches as well as the many fascinating museums, including the Battle of Britain Memorial flight at RAF Coningsby which is a must visit. The weather during our winter stay was, on occasions, cold and windy and we and others on site were disappointed to find that the power supply wasn't able to deliver enough power to heat the van and run the Dometic fridge - so make sure you take plenty of gas as a contingency if you're holidaying here in the winter. Otherwise a great 10 night stay!
We recently enjoyed eight nights at this lovely site. The welcome was friendly and helpful, and we were given a welcome pack, including all sorts of local information about the site and surroundings which was a nice touch and we found extremely useful! (Grey water wasn't a problem as the owner said he preferred the water being put at the base of the far fence adjoining a plantation of fir trees.) We enjoyed our stay and will definitely go there again!
This is a lovely site within walking distance of Louth. We have stayed several times and the site is always well maintained. The views are great and it is only a 10 minute walk into Louth ("The capital of the Wolds"). If you haven't visited the market town of Louth before then it is a must as there is so much to see and do.
Lovely site for exploring
In 43 years of caravanning we had never stayed in Lincolnshire before and chose this site partly because of the good reviews and partly because of its potentially convenient location. We were not disappointed! Having set up in the far corner of the field with beautiful views as far as we could see, we were able to walk into Louth and explore what turned out to be a very nice town with many independent shops. During our 4 night stay we were also able to visit the east coast and the delightful city of Lincoln without too much mileage. Our corner of the field did become very squelchy after the one deluge of our stay but had dried out considerably after a couple of days. We would certainly recommend this site and hope to return ourselves on another occasion.
Directions : From the North: Turn left off the A16 Louth bypass second signpost to Louth town centre, not the B1200. Site is on the right in about 0.5 miles.
