Low Hall Farm is a tranquil site, set on a working beef and sheep farm with land running from the Duddon Estuary to Kirkby Moor. Families are welcome. The site itself is self contained surrounded by dry stonewalls, enjoying stunning views of the estuary and the Lakeland fells. There is a slate gravel track running through the site giving excellent access to the hard standing pitches, the lawned area provides ample space for awnings. All pitches have electric hook-up. There is a modern well maintained centrally heated shower block with disabled access. There is a separate small adjacent site to the CL.
Please Note: No dogs allowed
The site is an excellent base for exploring the south lakes area and within easy reach of Coniston and Windermere. There is a local shop and pub within a mile of the site and the nearby towns and villages offer supermarkets, shopping and restaurants, as well as a range of attractions and activities.

There are three extremely spacious guest rooms; two double rooms and one twin room, all rooms have en-suite shower rooms. A lovely peaceful site

This is a lovely, peaceful site in a beautiful location with fantastic views across the Duddon Estuary and out to sea. The toilet and shower facilities were modern, spacious and spotless with free, hot showers. There are a number of footpaths and quiet lanes leading from the site for walks through the beautiful countryside and the surrounding villages. A warm welcome was received on arrival from Tracey and the three friendly farm dogs kept popping by the caravan to say hello throughout my stay. I will certainly come here again and look forward to exploring more of the area.

Great Site, Great Location

Peaceful site with great views. Excellent facilities. Lots to do in the area. Highly recommend this site. Yes this is a CL 5 site but the owners have their own small 5 site next to it. For me it does not spoil the CL experience.

One of the best.

Great facilities, Quiet with great views. Just keep your dogs on a lead! Lots of sheep near by. Easy footpath access to the village of Kirkby in Furness. Good pubs and a shop in walking distance. Great base for exploring the lakes. Care needed if entering via Greenod/spark bridge. Some single track sections on road. But fine if taken with care. Basically don't proceed until you can see it's clear to the next passing place. Wagons use this route. Access via Askham easier. Wide gated access to site itself for large rigs. May return to this one!

Excellent and peaceful CL

This is a lovely CL with excellent, clean and warm facilities. It is in a peaceful position with lovely countryside views. The site is half a site and half a CL and so has about 12 pitches in total. In November we were the only people here.

Directions : Please only use these recommended directions and not SatNav, due to alternative routes being unsuitable. Leave M6 at junction 36 onto road signposted Barrow (A590); in about 32 miles at roundabout signposted Whitehaven, Workington (A595) continue through Askham-in-Furness, in about 2.5 miles turn right and follow signs to Low Hall Farm. Site is next left.
