An Absolute little Gem of a Place
We have been coming to this site for many years. An absolute little gem of a place. The owners are so friendly and helpful. The site is on the outskirts of the village. Only a short stroll to the locals shops and pub. The local pub called Victoria Inn does excellent Carverys! The Park and Ride is also a short walk which takes you into the city of Truro. Treliske hospital is only a short drive away. The site is clean and tidy and has lovely scenic views around. Can not believe how piece and quite it is. So ideal for us. Cannot wait for our next holiday.
We loved it here...
We enjoyed our stay at Langarth last summer and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Truro - where else could you stay so close to Truro yet have the same peace and that view, for that price CL? You couldn't, and the fact that Treliske hospital is less than 10 mins away is a boon too. The owners are very nice Cornish people who made us welcome yet leave you to enjoy your holiday but couldn't do enough for you if you ask for anything. We couldnt get over the fact that although Truro and the Park n Ride are not too far away the Cl was so quiet and there was virtually no traffic noise because the farm is tucked away down a lovely lane, which is also a very nice walk in the evening. Yes the ground does appear sloped as you come through the gate gap but is actually level when you got to the hookup points. The Park n Ride is well worth using and is within walkable distance for moderately fit people but you can drive few mins and park there for free and visit Truro by bus too. We also met one of the nicest couples we have ever met in the CL's- Katy and Paul and their two little dogs, including the delightful Edna, a terrier! Such lovely people and we thank them for their hospitality and making us laugh... So a big thumbs up from us and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again, thank you Mr and Mrs Stephens.

Do Not Use Sat Nav. On the A30 exit of at "Chiverton". Take the A390 exit signposted for Truro. At the West Langarth roundabout, take the first exit, signposted for Langarth/Tregavethan. Follow this road for about 1 mile, drive passed the stadium then turn left at the sign for Langarth/Tregavethan. The campsite is on the left-hand side before the hill just before the cream-coloured farmhouse.
