Peaceful and spacious
Wide open space with the field mowed to lawn standards. This site is excellent as a base for exploring Cornwall, allowing you to reach most places with ease. Lester is friendly and helpful. We have returned to this site because we were so impressed last year. The dog had a ball and there is so much room that she could enjoy chasing her ball without impacting on anyone else. We were able to pitch about 40 metres from other campers (how's that for social distancing!). We will definitely return.
We have just returned from a 6 night stay on this site. It has all you need: easy access, level short grass (better than mine at home!), plenty of room and easy access to places of interest. If we return to that area, it is likely we would visit again.
We stayed there for 2 weeks and i must say what a lovely site it was, dogs loved it, farmer cut the grass 3 times a week so it was lovely and clean, pub down the road so had a lovely meal there and we could take the dogs in, while we were at the site we meet some lovely people, we will be going back there next year for sure, thank you Mr Gunn.
Excellent site, quiet, clean and spacious.
Excellent site. Well mown grass, cleanest bins I have ever seen. Good location to coast, Truro, Falmouth, St Mawes via King Harry Ferry, Trellisick Gardens just down the road. Plenty of space, good firm ground. Easy access to site, quiet location and from entrance to the field next door there are views across to the estuary. Good pub down the road, "Punch Bowl and Ladle" I think we will be back to this site again in the future. We only spoke to the owner on arrival but that was all that we required. Septic tank waste cover a little fiddly but that was a minor detail. One of the best CL sites we have visited and we have been members for over 25 years.
Directions : Turn left off the A39 (Truro - Falmouth) at Playing Place onto B3289 (signposted Feock, King Harry Ferry), in 1 mile at cross roads follow signs to Feock, in 320 metres (just past road junction) turn right into the farm road. Site on left site van call at farm house.
