EXCELLENT CL

Stayed here for eleven nights in June. A well kept peaceful beautiful setting. Fully serviced spacious pitches. Mr John greeted us on arrival and showed us all the amenities on site. Emrys and his wife Marion couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The dog walk is lovely around the pond. Although a narrow lane to the entrance we had no trouble entering or leaving the site during our stay. We will definitely visit again in the future.

This site has the potential to be superb.

Stayed for five days in September in glorious warm weather. It is such a shame that the site had Six vans on each night. Only one toilet and shower was available understandably due to the current situation, but there was no toilet roll for two days, which suggests that perhaps the facilities were not maintained as rigorously, although there was no noticeable drop in other standards. The T.V, booster system was a pit unpredictable, bringing in all channels one night, only non BBC another and none at all one night and this with no alteration in our set or aerial cable. The site entry mentions a narrow approach and this is very much the case. Our outfit is only 6ft 6ins wide, but still fouled the hedges on the lane. reversing would need to be a very strong point if two standard sized outfits met. Generally the site is well located and with a little more input could be superb.

BEAUTIFUL, TRANQUL SITE

We were originally booked at Tredegar house caravan club site. Unfortunately on our arrival we were told that Newport was going into lockdown so we could only stay one night. After many phones calls, and unable to secure a site for the rest of our holiday, my sister emailed me with the details of Midlands CL. Marion was able to offer a pitch to us for the 9 nights we needed. What a site it is too. Peaceful, well kept and tranquil surroundings. Both Marion and her husband couldn't have been more welcoming. This site is one that I will definitely visit again. We were sad to have to leave. Can't recommend this site enough.

Peaceful site in well kept surroundings

This is a wonderful CL ! 3 toilets and showers on site - all clean and tidy. The site is well kept and has the most lovely dog walk ( which we enjoyed even though we don't have a dog ! ) Each pitch is serviced which makes life very easy. Great location to visit St Davids, Fishguard, Tenby. We also did some great coastal path walks. We were given ideas of places to visit by Mr John - insights into places you would not otherwise find. Very friendly and helpful owners. The only awkward bit is the narrow approach road - but the site is on a no through road, so we did not have any problems. We would certainly return to this little gem.

Relaxing stay

Just returned from our 1st visit to this site and will definately be returning if we can get a pitch. It was the most relaxing cl we have been on and the best on site dog walk by far. Emrys and Marion was very friendly and helpful and keeps the site clean and tidy.Plenty of pitch space for our Motor home and excellent amenities for each pitch. thank you Peter Jackie

Directions : Turn left off the A40 (Haverfordwest - Fishguard) onto the B4331 (signposted Mathry). In 0.5 mile turn left at church. Site is on the left in 0.5 mile (care required as approach road is narrow).
